Easy to use, but am disappointed that the color is not as dark as it use to be. I've been using it for many years & can see the change.

It used to be called "Amazing i-Liner". I've tried other eyeliners over the years in a genuine effort to move on from this product, but they don't seem to do it for me like this does. I do believe the formula has changed, as it does take reapplication of the eyeliner to get an opaque look. While it's labeled hypoallergenic and no doubt it is, I notice fresh bottles tend to sting but leave no irritation on the skin. The applicator tip also is pretty stiff at first but once you break it in — it does work beautifully. Here's why I've kept buying this eyeliner for over 20 years: 1. A true matte finish. I've purchased "matte" eyeliners that have end up having a semi-gloss finish, or a weird sticky flakey texture. My theory is because these products attempt to waterproof the formula which sacrifice that flat matte finish. While unfortunately this Almay eyeliner isn't waterproof and therefore not smudgeproof — there's nothing a little finishing spray or eyeshadow primer can't do. I've used both with great results during swimming and gym workouts. In my opinion, I love the true matte black and don't mind it doesn't have those other properties built into to it. 2. A fantastic felt tip applicator. Something about the shape, material, length, and absorbency of this applicator works perfectly for my hooded eyelids. There are $20+ high-end eyeliners that just don't get right what this $7 drugstore eyeliner can do. Some felt tips are too long and therefore hard to control, some are a thin brush which doesn't hold as much product in one swipe. If you want to avoid breaking in the felt tip and the roughness that comes at first, I recommend just squeezing the felt tip between your fingers and gently bend it around to soften it a bit more. 3. A long-lasting amount of product. You'd be surprised how long that little "ink well" of eyeliner can last you! Usually the felt tip applicator is the first to go (after a long while of usage) before you actually run out of product. I like that Almay has kept this element of their eyeliner consistent over the years. Those are my 2 cents. Definitely will continue to buy this for years to come. :)

I love the staying power of this eyeliner and I've bought it over and over. I've got greasy eyelids and work 12-hour shifts- so my eye make up needs to last 13 hours or so AND be able to stand up to my oil, plus hot and sweaty conditions sometimes. Have I mentioned that I'm a nurse? So it's awesome if I somehow manage to look a little professional too! This little pot of eyeliner never lets me down! It's easy to apply and easy enough to correct with a wet cotton swab for a couple minutes after application. After that, well, you're going to have to take it off and start over I think. This eyeliner isn't perfect and doesn't quite make it the whole 13 hours sometimes. Sometimes I'll get home and notice that I've dragged a bit of eyeliner down my face and occasionally I notice that one eye has a bit less than the other. However, I've never found another eyeliner that gets closer to what I need, and I've tried plenty. This really is a great little eyeliner. I'm taking 1 star off because sometimes my eyelids burn with the initial application and if I wipe off the eyeliner I can see that my eyelid is also bright pink where it was applied. The burning doesn't last for more than a second or two, and I don't have further irritation throughout the day. I do an oil cleanser at the end of the day and it comes off easily.

This eyeliner advertises itself as having a flexible "brush" tip. Don't know in what world this is a brush. It is a firm toothpic-like apparatus that feels terrible going on and can't apply smoothly because of the NOT A BRUSH applicator. I would give zero stars if I could. Can't even return it because it's an opened makeup product. Waste of money, AVOID!

I love this color Black Pearl it is softer than black and looks great on any cool of eyes or skin!

Me gustó mucho porque es muy facil realizar tu delineado, pero no pigmenta mucho, no queda super negro, y si das más pasadas queda un poco parchoso pero me gustó porque es de línea hipoalergénica y eso me ayuda mucho a mis ojos ya que tengo conjuntivitis alérgica

I love this eyeliner so much that when drugstores stopped carrying it, I found it online... I have tried a ton of other brands but I either hate the quality of the liquid OR the shape of the brush. This is the only one that works for me. The brush is the perfect shape of sponge, making it SO easy to apply in the mornings. Seriously! I never mess up. It tends to give a bit of a thicker line than some might like but I would rather think and even than thin and messy.

Hardly visible on dark skin. Not recommended
