Aveda stopped making their comparable one last year, and I think this one is actually better, no plastic except the cap. it costs less than the Aveda and no wasteful parts are there like all those little spiral brushes that i don't need. I have no brows so this is it for me for brow replacement. why do I need a brush every time when I have nothing to brush? I am very pleased with this pencil, and believe me I have been shopping around!

My Favorite Eye Pencil

I have pale skin and platinum blonde hair/light brown eyebrows. I wear very little eye makeup but like having a subtle line under my outer lower lashes to help with eye definition. My mascara is non-waterproof and brown/black in color. Since I'm older, I don't like harsh eyeliner lines but more of a diffused almost smoky look. These mineral fusion eye pencils in "Rough" shade work perfectly for me. They glide on without tugging my skin and can be blended easily to soften the line, They wash off easily with makeup remover yet stay in place throughout the day as long as they aren't getting wet. One pencil lasts a long time and sharpens easily when you need to. I've been purchasing them for years and decided that it was finally time to "sing their praises" because nothing else works as well for me.

Great for sensitive eyes!

My skin is SO sensitive, I have to buy special mascara and creams. Even as a kid I could never use those fake tattoos but this is nice. It's not great as a top eye liner(like for wings etc) but it's great for in the eye lid. No irritation and spreads smoothly. I'm probably only getting this one from now on.

Does not stay put

I love this company and I really wanted to love this eyeliner. I think it's incredibly important to use makeup with clean ingredients and as few chemicals as possible. I buy many mineral fusion products, but this eyeliner did not live up to expectations. I have been using it for a few months and no matter how I apply it, it ends up under my eyes and I look like a raccoon. Does it go on easily? Yes, but it also slides off just as easily which just does not work. I really wish they would improve this product as it's hard to find non-toxic cosmetics at a reasonable price. Please find a way to do better.

I love the color and the fast that the pencil isn't too hard or too soft. Perfect as an eyeliner and sometimes eyebrow pencil This is my second purchase

“rough” color is barely brown

The “Rough” color is a barely noticeable brown. The colors shown on the Amazon listing are wildly incorrect. I like a dark brown pencil to line my upper lid, and this one is such a light brown that it might as well be blonde. Can't return because it's been used (and that's gross), and it would most likely get thrown out by Amazon anyway.

Love the colour and the soft pencil and very tasty according to my dog!

What can I say?... unfortunately when it arrived in a package...my dog ate the pencil!!He normally doesn't demolished any packages that comes in the post as there was another package delivered at the same time which he wasn't interested in! He clearly enjoyed it as he ate the whole pencil bar the plastic bit! I was able to use the tiny bit inside the plastic top and found it soft to glide it on my eyes which I love.
