As a certified make-up artist, I have tried many high-priced name-brand make-ups with prices ranging from $25 and up depending on the makeup products you are looking for. It could get pricey when all that makeup adds up. So I was willing to try and find good quality make-up that is more affordable. ETUDE eyebrow pencil was the one product that fell into these categories I was looking for! I fell in love and have used it since the first purchase and never looked back. Here is why it works for me. I have a good amount of eyebrows and have the shape but need a pencil to define the outer line of my eyebrow and fill it in to make it fuller looking. The tip of the ETUDE eyebrow pencil is a slanted shape that helps me to hold it against my face so I feel secure and confident when I draw in my eyebrows. Some eyebrow pencils can come out too dark, which can make it difficult to draw natural-looking eyebrows. But the ETUDE pencil is not too harsh and gives a natural look even with the pressure. I highly recommend it for people who are just starting to draw their brows, too. It is that easy to use, last all day long, and mostly affordable!

I bought #2 grey brown. The name “grey brown” kinda threw me off, but after trying it I think that is just referring to a neutral/cool-toned/taupe color. It’s not warm toned. Personally neutral tones look best on my skin tone (which is neutral lol), and seem to match my eyebrows best. Application was incredibly easy/quick. The texture is different from any brow product I’ve ever tried. Normally with other products I have to mess around with it until it looks good. This product seemed to just kinda effortlessly slide on. It looks very natural, which is what I prefer. I’m so happy I tried this! I was kinda shocked at how much I liked this. The only thing was that I stressed out about choosing the right color lol. But thankfully I picked the perfect one!

I've been using a brush and powder for the longest time for my eyebrows and wanted to try something new. While the quality doesn't compare to Shu Uemura brow sword pencil, this surprisingly works pretty well and better than my brush and powder. I have black eyebrows and got the dark brown. I love that it comes with an eyebrow brush on the other end to help fill in the color. The only thing to watch out for is that it is a bit thin, so you must retract the pencil every time you're done using it, or else a piece will break off when opening or closing it, which is what happened to me. But that might be just me, as I can be clumsy and lazy!

I was loyal to the Elf brow pencils for years but this one is better. The Gray Brown is perfect for my cool dark brown hair. This pencil is only $1more than the Elf one but lasts about 10000 times longer. It has the perfect pigmentation level to fill in easily without looking like Dracula. Most brands either have the taupe gray for blondes, or this super dark brown that looks too harsh on me, but the color of this is exactly right. I really can't imagine a more perfect brow pencil for any price.

The color #5 gray looked good on me, the pencil was easy to use, and the price was right. However, the pencil core application would break easily; the remaining application eventually fell off the pencil a couple of times.

As a senior with silver hair and pale skin, this eyebrow pencil was perfect. I used an ever so light touch to apply, such a light touch in fact, I wondered at first why I even bought it. But when I stepped back from the makeup mirror and looked into a full length mirror from more of a distance, it was just what I needed. I fear looking garish, and this resulted in a lovely natural look. There are other pencils in this gray color that cost 6 times as much. While I have never tried the expensive ones, I can confidently say that I am more than satisfied with this one. It is not crumbly, goes on smoothly, and lasts all day on me. I have not tried swimming in it though. Glad to have discovered this brand.

My hair is mostly brown but getting well sprinkled with gray. This is the first cool brown pencil I have found. It has a great edge, goes on realistically. and stays on all day. I highly recommend it.

This is my first time purchasing the etude house eyebrow liner. The dark grey 05 perfectly matched my brows. I have cool tone and natural dark brown/black hair. Highly recommended!

It’s perfect for filling in the brows for better consistency and more defined shaping. I’ve been getting it for a while now!

For me the application pencil was too thick. I am used to a finer pencil. I will just have to change the way I apply it. The brush on the other end is different but I will have to get used to using it.
