Perfect makeup bag and it holds a great amount! The muted blue is a soft, gentle color with a feminine floral embossing. Material and zipper feel good quality so far. The diagonal zip means the bag sits flat when opened (very easy to see all your stuff!). The detachable pouches are generously sized. The dividers don’t attach to the bottom, which allows for 1. Easy cleaning but 2. More space for a larger palette. Elastics are a good size to hold smaller items in place and in an upright position to limit chances for leakage. Handle feels sturdy. This is a travel makeup bag designed by someone that travels with a stocked makeup bag - it’s very well thought out and I’m impressed

Great makeup bag!

I travel every week and have had difficulty finding the right design/size of bag to easily (and safely) carry all my makeup. What I found, with this bag, is that I can carry not only my makeup essentials but my smaller bottles of perfumes and oils that I typically have to put elsewhere. I took the 2 zippered bags out because I did not care to use them but found that they come in handy to carry extra toiletries when traveling with a suitcase. This bag, open and closed, has a smaller footprint than the larger rectangular-sized one I used before...and surprisingly holds more! When open, it fits on my single single sink just fine. The material is solid with the exterior stiff enough to hold it's shape, open or closed, without sagging or becoming flimsy. I am happy that the interior satin material is also substantial and a light color so that I don't have to dig around, for my things, in too dark an interior. I believe that it is, indeed, water resistant and will be easy to clean. I am a happy girl!

Cute and Versatile

This makeup bag was such a great buy! I'll be using for an upcoming trip set to last for about 2 weeks. I was able to fit all my makeup/brushes, lotions, in this neat little package. The color is a really nice light gray and looks much better than picture I provided. What I like the most is that there are two removable makeup bags within (there's a velcro strip on bottom of the smaller bags that attach to main bag to keep secure , which is perfect because I'll be able to take one out to keep in my backpack for easy access to the things I need the most, while the rest of my makeup bag goes in my checked luggage. Another thing, the shape allows for flexibility in how items fit which allows for enough space and it keeps things very orderly. Only dowside so far is that the stitching could be better; I found some areas where the stitching was done poorly (wich is why I took a star off) It's not a huge deal, but paying attention to the quality of the stitching would elevate the quality of this cute bag. I would purchase again!

Beautifully packaged with lots of space and versatility.

I travel a lot and when I travel, I bring a lot of stuff because I hate leaving anything behind and that includes stuff for beauty and skincare. I’m always looking for the latest and greatest toiletries bag and this one is a keeper. The packaging and presentation were great. It comes with a dust cover and on initial inspection, it appears to be a quality bag from the zipper pulls to the faux stamped leather exterior. Within the main compartment are two pouches that adhere to the bottom of the main bag with Velcro. They’re easily detachable so you can use them separately giving you more space in the main bag or it allows for separation of items when packed in the main bag. I like that this style of bag folds up into a more compact container saving valuable packing space within luggage. I also like that the material is pretty rigid. I don’t have to worry about this getting flattened like a pancake. It would make a nice gift, too, because it comes so nicely packaged. You don’t have to worry about having it shipped to someone for their birthday only to have it arrive in a thin, wrinkled plastic bag. The presentation is class act. This travel cosmetics bag offers a lot of versatility and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
